• Use the app for commercial purposes

3. Disclaimer of Medical Advice

IMPORTANT: PaceMate is a health tracking tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice.

PaceMate:

• Does NOT diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
• Does NOT replace professional medical advice
• Should NOT be used as a substitute for medical care
• Is NOT FDA-approved or regulated as a medical device

Consult Healthcare Providers

You should always:

• Consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making health decisions
• Seek immediate medical attention for emergencies
• Use PaceMate only as a supplementary tracking tool
• Not delay or avoid seeking professional medical care

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use PaceMate only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others.

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the accuracy of information you enter
• Keeping your data current and accurate
• Using the app in accordance with all applicable laws

5. Limitation of Liability

No Warranties

PaceMate is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

No Liability for Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are NOT liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Damage to property or personal injury
• Any other damages arising from your use of the app

Liability Cap

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which is $0 for the free version).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PaceMate from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

• Your use of the app
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any applicable law
• Your infringement of any third-party rights

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Intellectual Property

All content in PaceMate, including software, design, graphics, and documentation, is owned by PaceMate and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your Data

You retain ownership of your activity logs, health data, and custom activities. We have a limited license to use your data to provide app services.

8. Third-Party Services

PaceMate uses third-party services including Expo, Firebase, and Google Analytics. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies.

9. Termination

You may stop using PaceMate at any time by uninstalling the app. We may terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited conduct.

10. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features
• Update the app with new features or bug fixes
• Change the functionality of the app

11. Availability and Interruptions

While we strive for continuous availability, we do NOT guarantee that:

• The app will function on all devices
